Hybrid Program Details

Our new hybrid teacher training course offers participants in time zones between Myanmar and New Zealand the opportunity to work alongside our synchronous program.

Hybrid program participants will receive 8 hours of video recordings from the live weekend sessions. You will watch the recordings in full and meet once per month for live discussions with our instructors on Friday evenings from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Pacific time - Saturday mornings in your part of the world!

Be sure to check your timezone as live attendance for the 2 hour monthly sessions is required.

In our 2 years together we will be digging deep into the foundations of teaching handwork. We will work our way through grades 1-8 over 4 semesters. In addition to the recordings, each month you will receive a selection of reading materials, patterns, project instructions, resources, and assignments to complete in your own time before we meet. All assignments will be turned in using our online learning platform.

Each semester will include the following core elements:

  • The art of teaching handwork

  • Child development and Waldorf education

  • Waldorf philosophy and human development

  • Inner development / artistic work

  • Diversity in learning

  • Field work

  • Community building

  • One-on-one mentoring

  • Live discussions, feedback, and support

  • World renowned guest speakers

  • Lifetime access to all resources
